Week 1: Building Your Nature Storytelling Toolkit
As a nature-inspired storyteller, you need resources you can rely on, suited to your setting, your children, and your unique teaching style — without breaking the bank. We'll explore easy-to-find props and tools to curate your very own Nature Storytelling Toolkit, to help keep your storytime sessions humming every time you reach for it.
Week 2: Finding Story Seeds in Nature
Learn how everyday noticings in nature can become powerful story seeds. You'll practice spotting, shaping, and sharing these moments to spark imagination, communication, and creative expression — yours and children's!
Week 3: Clay and Storylines
Using clay, natural loose parts, and a simple piece of rope, I'll showcase one of my favourite strategies in action, bringing stories to life in a way that makes narrative storytelling simple and playful, while naturally building children's language, literacy, creativity, and collaboration.
Week 4: Stories, Sharing & Sprouting Next Steps
We'll bring it all together, gathering to celebrate your nature-inspired storytelling journey so far, learning from others' experiences, and exploring fresh ways to keep it growing. As we reflect together, you'll create a clear plan for embedding what you've learnt into your teaching practice, setting you up for ongoing success, joy-filled storytimes and inspiring children to fall in love with nature and storytelling too.
Live Support, Built In
This training is full support inside a 4-week container, with an additional implementation week and bonus Q&A (between weeks 2 and 3) to support you as you implement what you learn with children. That's 5 weeks of live support!
Every Training and Q&A call is live on Zoom, a real two-way conversation, and you keep the recordings with lifetime access.
